Samenvatting van de wijzigingen
New app installations no longer receive a device identifier; data for push notifications is only stored if notifications are allowed. The description of the order of search results has been clarified, and stores with which Highcovery has a partnership may be marked with a partner badge or as "Partner" and highlighted in separate sections. We have also clarified where offers come from, which questions the grow guide asks, and that we publish new versions with a summary of the changes on the website at least 30 days in advance.

Terms of Use
Effective: 1 December 2026 · Version 20261201
1. Provider and scope
(1) These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern the use of the website highcovery.com, the mobile app "Highcovery" for iOS and Android and all functions offered through them (together the "Services").
(2) The Services are provided by Leonardo Antonio Carta, c/o Emperon Studio GmbH, Sachsenring 51a, 50677 Cologne, Germany, email: leonardo@highcovery.com, phone: +49 221 27645575 ("Highcovery", "we", "us"). Further details are in our Imprint.
(3) These Terms apply to everyone who uses the Services ("users" or "you"). Retailers and partners using the partner dashboard or the affiliate programme are additionally subject to the separate partner and affiliate terms. The "Blaze" app has its own terms.
(4) Conflicting terms of users do not apply.
2. Overview of the Services
(1) Highcovery is an information and comparison platform about cannabis, hemp, growing equipment and related products. The Services include in particular:
a) searching for products and for physical and online stores of retailers, including a nearby search based on your location and retailer coupons (section 5);
b) a strain database with information on cannabis strains (section 6);
c) a grow guide with grow planning and checklists (section 7);
d) editorial content (news, guides) and push notifications (section 10).
(2) The Services are free of charge for you.
(3) Highcovery does not sell any products itself, in particular no cannabis, seeds or accessories. Purchase contracts are concluded exclusively between you and the respective retailer (section 5).
(4) We may use third parties (e.g. hosting and push service providers) to provide the Services.
3. Minimum age, protection of minors and legal situation
(1) The Services are intended exclusively for adults aged 18 or over. By using them you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We may ask you to confirm your age; false information is prohibited. The app asks for this on first launch.
(2) The Services provide factual information. Highcovery does not advertise cannabis within the meaning of section 1 no. 8 KCanG or cultivation associations. Seeds and cuttings (propagation material), industrial hemp, CBD and accessories are not cannabis in this sense.
(3) In Germany, adults may grow no more than three cannabis plants at a time at their residence or habitual abode and possess no more than 50 grams of dried cannabis there. Seeds for home growing may only be imported from EU Member States. Medical cannabis is prescription-only and is not advertised or brokered through the Services. The law in other countries may differ; you are responsible for complying with the law at your location. Information in the Services (e.g. growing tips, strain or product information) is not legal advice.
(4) The offers in the Services come partly from partners and partly from publicly accessible sources such as retailers' websites (section 5(1)). Partners have assured us that they operate lawfully. Highcovery checks offers taken from publicly accessible sources to the best of its knowledge; we cannot guarantee that they are lawful. We do not check in each individual case whether a product may be purchased, possessed or used at your location.
4. Use without an account
(1) No user account is required to use the Services. For new installations the app does not register a device identifier; older installations may still have a random device identifier from earlier app versions. Data for push notifications (e.g. push token, language and country) is only stored if you have allowed push notifications.
(2) Saved products and stores as well as your grow plan are stored only on your device and will be lost, for example, if you uninstall the app. Your answers in the grow guide are transmitted to our server to calculate the seed suggestions and are not stored there permanently (see the privacy policy).
5. Product and store search, affiliate links, purchase contracts
(1) Information on products, prices, availability, coupons and stores comes from retailers, who provide it via interfaces or the partner dashboard, or has been taken by us from publicly accessible sources. The respective retailer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information it provides. We give no guarantee that the information is up to date. Prices may change after transmission; the price on the retailer's website at the time of ordering is decisive. Shipping and other costs may apply.
(2) Buttons such as "Go to Shop" redirect you to the retailer's website. A purchase contract is concluded exclusively between you and the retailer, on the retailer's terms, in particular regarding withdrawal, warranty, delivery and payment. The retailer is your contact for orders, payments and complaints.
(3) Remuneration (affiliate links). Highcovery receives a commission for some links. If you buy from the retailer after such a redirect, the retailer pays us a commission. This does not cost you anything extra. To attribute the purchase, an identifier is passed to the retailer when you click; details are set out in the privacy policy.
(4) Ranking. Your search term and the filters you select determine which results are shown. Products are sorted by price in ascending order. Local stores are sorted by distance from your location if a location is available. Online stores are filtered according to the filters you select and shown in the order of the search index; no payment influences this order. Stores with which Highcovery has a partnership (e.g. an affiliate programme with commission) may be marked with a partner badge or the label "Partner" and highlighted in separate sections (e.g. "Recommended by us"); the store cannot set this label itself. There are no placements in return for separate payment; commissions for referrals are described in paragraph 3. Commissions do not influence the order of search results. If there are very many results, we only show a limited number to keep the search functional.
(5) For the nearby search, the app uses your device's location with your permission. You can also use the search with a manually entered address.
6. Strain database and informational content
(1) The strain database, grow guides and editorial content are prepared with care but may be incomplete or inaccurate. Information on cannabinoid content, effects or characteristics of a strain is general and without guarantee; plants and products can differ considerably.
(2) The content does not replace medical or pharmaceutical advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition, consult a doctor before consumption. Cannabis consumption can pose health risks, particularly for young adults, and can impair the ability to drive.
7. Grow guide
(1) In the grow guide you can create a grow plan and tick off checklists. The plan is stored only on your device (section 4(2)). We ask about your experience, the available space, your priority, the desired effect and your budget; we derive the suitable genetics from the desired effect. Based on your answers we suggest suitable seeds. For this purpose the answers are transmitted to our server for the calculation and are not stored there permanently (see the privacy policy).
(2) Growing tips are general information. You are responsible for growing only within the legally permitted framework (in Germany, among other things, no more than three plants per adult at their place of residence or habitual abode, protected from access by children, adolescents and third parties) and for complying with safety regulations for electrics, lighting and ventilation.
8. Permitted use
You may only use the Services in accordance with applicable law and these Terms. In particular, you must not introduce malware, technically disrupt the Services, read them automatically (scraping) or circumvent security measures.
9. Notice of illegal content
(1) You can report content in the Services that you consider illegal, in particular retailers' information on products and stores, by email to leonardo@highcovery.com. The notice should identify the content precisely (e.g. link), explain why it is allegedly illegal, include your name and email address (except for notices concerning child sexual abuse material) and state that the information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. We confirm receipt, decide in a timely, diligent and objective manner and inform you of the decision.
(2) We report information about criminal offences involving a threat to the life or safety of persons to the competent authorities where required by law.
10. Communications and push notifications
(1) We provide communications about the Services, in particular about changes to these Terms, in the app or on the website.
(2) You only receive push notifications (e.g. about new articles, products, offers or features) if you have allowed them. You can switch them off at any time in your device settings.
11. Term and termination
(1) The user contract runs for an indefinite period. You can terminate it at any time without notice by ceasing to use the Services and uninstalling the app.
(2) We may terminate the contract with four weeks' notice. Both parties' right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected; good cause exists for us in particular in the event of serious or repeated violations of section 3(1) or section 8.
12. Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee given.
(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, i.e. an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may regularly rely, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
(3) We are not liable for offers, products, prices and services of retailers or for the content of linked websites as if they were our own content; our responsibility under the statutory provisions for hosting services remains unaffected.
(4) The above limitations also apply to our legal representatives, employees and vicarious agents.
13. Availability and changes to the Services
(1) We strive to keep the Services available with as few interruptions as possible. Maintenance, security incidents or third-party disruptions may cause temporary restrictions. There is no right to constant availability of the Services.
(2) We may further develop or change the Services or discontinue individual functions.
14. Changes to these Terms
(1) We may amend these Terms if this is necessary due to changes in the law, case law, new or changed functions or for security reasons and you are not unreasonably disadvantaged as a result.
(2) Highcovery publishes the new version together with a summary of the changes on the website at least 30 days before it takes effect. Changes required solely to avert immediate security risks or to implement mandatory legal requirements may take effect with a shorter notice period.
(3) If you do not agree with a change, you can object until it takes effect and stop using the Services. We will point out this option in the summary of the changes.
15. Data protection
How we process personal data (e.g. device identifier, location, click tracking, push token) is explained in our Privacy Policy. The privacy policy is not part of these Terms; by accepting these Terms you do not give consent under data protection law. We obtain any required consent separately.
16. Point of contact
The single point of contact for users and for authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services under Art. 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), and for general questions, is the email address leonardo@highcovery.com. Communication is possible in German and English.
17. Dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
18. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that country remain unaffected.
(2) If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Cologne. The statutory places of jurisdiction apply to consumers.
19. Final provisions
(1) Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected; the statutory provisions take the place of the invalid provision.
(2) These Terms are available in German and English. In the event of discrepancies, the German version prevails.
(3) You can access, save and print these Terms at any time at https://highcovery.com/en/terms.
